Director

I have been working in the early childhood industry since 1987, firstly as an Assistant and then working my way up to a Group Leader and then as a Director. I have a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Studies) which I achieved in 2001.

I have been at Sunkids - Ormiston since the centre first opened in 2005 and I have had the opportunity to watch children grow and develop from first starting in the Nursery and then moving up each room until eventually they are have gone off to school. 

I enjoy celebrating the little milestones that children achieve - from their first steps, to saying their first words and then to having conversations with them. I treat every child as if they are my own and truly believe children are a precious trust.

As Director of the centre, I am very proud to have achieved being a Finalist in the Redland Chamber of Commerce Business Achievement Awards for “Best Emerging Business” in 2007. The centre has also been given the opportunity in 2010 to trial the new Kindergarten program for 3 – 4 year olds.

I am extremely passionate about providing parents and children with a high-quality learning environment. My priority is to ensure your children are safe, happy and having fun whilst they learn, grow and develop.

When I am not at the centre, I can be found catching the latest blockbuster at the movies or cheering on the Aussie cricket team.
